'When The Sun Goes Down' is a glimpse into the grieving process; it's about loss and struggling to deal with losing someone you love. I found it particularly difficult at night when there were no distractions; just me and my thoughts. Writing the song allowed for me to release this, and face the grief, rather than running from it.
