David Lawson, known professionally as WRLD, is a Dutch music producer. He debuted on Monstercat with his song Orbit featuring Richard Caddock, which was released on June 2, 2014.

- WRLD was inspired to produce music after hearing a song composed entirely of Windows system sounds and downloading the program in which the song was created. Prior to then, he had no interest in pursuing a musical career.[1]
- He wants to collaborate with Owl City's Adam Young.[1]
- Richard Caddock was his favorite vocalist to work with during the production of his debut EP, Chase It EP.[1]
- He recently started a new alias called Miru. The project will focus on house music like he did with his song Drive.[2]
