About

File:Varien-Logo-Plain.png

Description from his Facebook profile: Varien (Nick Pittsinger, 24) and his music can only truly be described as indescribable. Not only was he named one of Alternative Press Magazine's "Top 100 Artists You Need to Know," but he also has worked with a wide variety of extremely talented artists including: Skrillex, Two Steps from Hell, and Celldweller, among others. Pittsinger has also landed features in trailers for 300: Rise of an Empire, The Tomorrow People, and The Purge: Anarchy. Varien’s resume continues with his assistance in the development of sample libraries for esteemed company 8Dio, composition of music and sound effects for private sound libraries such as Robert Etoll's Q Factory, and more.

The only thing more impressive are his numbers on social media. For, he has reached over 10,000,000 combined YouTube views, 1,000,000 Soundcloud plays, and has over 50,000 active fans on Facebook; and these figures are burgeoning on a daily basis.

His music is a perfect blending of dark electronic, cinematic orchestral music, and heavy metal with a focus on live instrumentation. It doesn't stop there, though. Nick has also conquered 80's Cyberpunk, Electro Swing, Ambient, Trip Hop, Funk, Rock, and Pop.

Varien is not only a major contributor in these genres, but also a trend-setter, which is shown by his numerous #1 Beatport chart toppers. As Varien continues to develop his sound and expand his portfolio, he will assuredly continue on his path of becoming a household name and earn more and more recognition as a truly unique and diverse artist.
