Sayonara is a song by Dirtyphonics and is their first solo single on the label. It was released on August 6, 2018, and is a part of the Monstercat Uncaged Vol. 5 compilation.
The quote "You asked me to come say goodbye... Sayonara." is a direct reference to the 2013 Wolverine movie.[1]
"Sayounara" means "farewell" in Japanese.
The cover art has a clever trick in that it uses the 2nd Japanese alphabet used for non native Japanese words to write Sayonara, since the original word, Sayounara has an extra U sound in its spelling.
The Japanese voice clip included in the song is a reference to the popular anime series, Sword Art Online. The dialogue translates roughly (from what I can hear) to 死ねだから(Thats why you’re dead! 1st vocal passage) そうか?(Is that so? a second character speaking, 2nd vocal passage). やめて!やめろ!(Stop! Stop! First character speaking, 3rd vocal passage).
The word "The" doesn't mean it occurs mostly in the "T' section; rather, it is excluded so that the next word after the word "The" (e.g.: "The Alchemist's Nightmare") will occur in that specific letter (e.g: "A'). • We target any song that has full similarities with that specific genre. If you think it is wrong, you're wrong.
