New Age | Dark Age is the debut long play by Karma Fields, released on March 2, 2016 with an upload of Edge of the World.

On September 15, 2016, the LP was re-released as a deluxe version with 5 extra songs performed classically. All of the original songs are included in the deluxe edition, with the exception of Build The Cities +.


This album is no longer released on Monstercat and is now released independently.

Trivia[]

  • On September 9, 2016, a classical piano contest for the long play was announced. The first prize winner received a signed New Age | Dark Age vinyl, and had their entry shared with the Monstercat community.
  • The standard LP was released a year later the day Karma Fields's debut song was released.
  • This was the longest LP on Monstercat until March 2020. Its record was broken by Infected Mushroom with their More Than Just a Name LP, with a length of 57:06. In 2021, Tony Romera’s Introspection LP broke the record, and in 2022, the record was broken by Infected Mushroom, with their IM25 LP.
