Marshmello is an electronic dance music producer and DJ. He debuted on Monstercat with his song Alone, which was released on May 13, 2016.
Background[]
Marshmello wears a custom white helmet, resembling a marshmallow, for public appearances and in his music videos. His identity was initially a secret, but was confirmed by Forbes to be Chris Comstock in April 2017.
Since its release, the music video for Alone has proceeded to become the most viewed video on the Monstercat Youtube channel with over 160 million views (and over 2 billion views on Marshmello's channel). In November of 2017, the song earned Monstercat their first and only platinum record. He currently makes music with more pop-style artists and vocalists such as Selena Gomez, Khalid, and Logic.

- At EDC 2016, legendary Dutch DJ and producer Tiësto trolled everyone by disguising himself as Marshmello.
- Marshmello had an kids' brand named "Mellodees", where kids learn, with nursery rhymes, episodes, and kids shows, similar to fellow YouTube kids' channel Cocomelon.
