I was excited to work with Bella on a track that has a feel outside of a lot of the songs I have released in the past. The way we were able to combine our strengths creatively really shows in this record and to have it put out by Monstercat makes it that much more special!

This song is an expression of loneliness and heartache woven into heavy, cinematic, compelling production. I’m so grateful to have made this with YDG, he’s an awesome super genuine human and getting to play this one out at festivals and shows has been so awesome. The music we create together feels very cinematic and intentional and conceptual and that’s super rare to connect that way for me with other producers. “Take me out of this liminal space” to me is a message to the universe that I’m ready to move on with my life into a new chapter of wholeness, “I need someone to light me up” is a line where I want to reflect on the fact that we could be searching for someone to save us, but its almost pointless to wait for that, we can always take ourselves out of the liminal space we feel stuck in.
