Krewella is an American electronic music duo, originally from Northbrook, Illinois, formed in 2007. The pair consists of sisters Jahan Yousaf and Yasmine Yousaf. A third member, Kristopher Trindl, was involved in their making of music before he resigned from his position in 2014.
The group mainly specializes in dubstep music, but also creates based upon drum and bass and house-styled songs.
Their song Killin' It was released via Monstercat on January 20, 2012, making it their first original song to be released through a label. In 2013, they also released a collaboration with Pegboard Nerds entitled This Is Not the End through Monstercat. The group reappeared on the label in 2016 as the vocalists for Pegboard Nerds and NGHTMRE's Superstar, which had been hinted at prior to its release.
