Hyper Potions is an American electronic dance music project founded by Ian Tsuchiura (Sushi Killer) and Kevin Villecco. They debuted on Monstercat under their separate aliases with their collaboration Anime Bae, which was released on October 20, 2014.
After Anime Bae was released, they decided to form a duo, naming themselves Hyper Potions after the item from Nintendo's Pokémon series, and debuted on Monstercat under this name with their song Porta Vista, which was released on April 29, 2015.
As of March 18, 2023, Kevin is no longer a member of the project due to sexual harassment allegations.[1]

- October 20, 2014: Sushi Killer and Kevin Villecco released their debut Monstercat single, Anime Bae. The song is featured on Monstercat 019 - Endeavour and Monstercat - Best of 2014.
2015[]
April
- April 29, 2015: Hyper Potions, under their new alias, released their second Monstercat single, Porta Vista. The song is featured on Monstercat 022 - Contact.

- June 12, 2015: Hyper Potions released their third Monstercat single, Adventures in collaboration with Subtact. The song is featured on Monstercat 023 - Voyage, Monstercat - Best of Future Bass and Monstercat - Best of 2015.

- July 15, 2015: Hyper Potions released their fourth Monstercat single, Saturday Morning Space Ride in collaboration with Stephen Walking. The song is featured on Monstercat 023 - Voyage.

- September 29, 2015: Hyper Potions created a remix of the song Legends by Razihel, featuring TeamMate. The remix was released as a free release.

- October 28, 2015: Hyper Potions released their fifth Monstercat single, Distance in collaboration with Richard Caddock. The song is featured on Monstercat 024 - Vanguard.

- April 25, 2016: Hyper Potions released their sixth Monstercat single, Unbreakable featuring Danyka Nadeau. The song is featured on Monstercat 027 - Cataclysm.

- November 8, 2016: Hyper Potions created a remix of the song Matches by Ephixa and Stephen Walking, featuring Aaron Richards. The remix is featured on Matches (The Remixes).

- Outside of Monstercat, Hyper Potions has commonly made music either remixing existing video game soundtracks or appearing on these soundtracks, most commonly within the SEGA franchise.
- As of now Hyper Potions has appeared in the Sonic Mania, Sonic Mania Adventures, and Team Sonic Racing OSTs. They have also appeared in the 2020 Sonic the Hedgehog movie.
- They also created the theme for the credits of Scott the Woz’s 200-episode special, “Borderline Forever”.
- Along with these, they composed the remix of Disney animated series Amphibia’s intro, which was used in the retro video game style Theme Song Takeover of said intro.
- Ian's favorite video games consist of Mega Man X, the Pokemon series, and the Kingdom Hearts series. Kevin's favorite video games consist of Phantasy Star Online, DOTA 2, Rocket League, and Overwatch.[2]
- Kevin used to be 1/2 of the video game Lo-Fi project Coffee Date along with his ex-wife Evelyn Rivera aka QORA, but he left in October 2020 after they separated.
