Biography[]
ÆON:MODE is the brainchild of Australian-born producer JP Orchison, best known under his primary moniker, Blanke.
ÆON:MODE has allowed the producer to thrive in a lane of Drum & Bass that is influenced by the likes of Sub Focus & Pendulum. After D&B focused Blanke singles 'Alchemy' & 'Mystery' hit #1 and #2 most played at triple j- the 'Blanke Present's ÆON:MODE' stage name was born to support a string of D&B focused performances in Australia.
In 2023 The 'Blanke's ÆON:MODE' Remix of Ray Volpe's anthem 'Laserbeam' was released, clocking over 5 million streams on Spotify alone and landing in the top 10 most played D&B tracks of 2023 on 1001 Tracklists. It has seen live support from the likes of Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Andy C, Wilkinson, Dimension and many more. 'Awake', a collaboration with Metrik followed soon after, landing on renowned label Hospital Records, ushering in the next phase of ÆON:MODE - a fully fledged stand alone project.
The ÆON:MODE live experience has hit Red Rocks in Denver, Melkweg in Amsterdam, Rampage Open Air in Belgium & Listen Out Festival in Australia, alongside a host of other festivals in North America.
In April 2024, his unreleased remix of Odd Mob & Omnom's hit 'Losing Control' was played by Dom Dolla & John Summit as the closing record in their huge Back to Back set on the Outdoor Stage of Coachella weekend one. A collaboration with Friction 'State of Mind' and a single on Wilkinson's Sleepless Records 'Lonely' followed in Q2 2024.[1]
